St Mary

St Mary is a parish in central Jerseys. It is the largest parish in Jersey, and is home to a number of attractions, including: St. Mary’s Church: The parish church is a beautiful example of Gothic architecture, and was built in the 12th century. La Hougue Bie: A Neolithic burial mound, and one of the most important archaeological sites in Jersey. Green Lanes: A network of footpaths that wind through the parish, and offer stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Rozel Bay: A beautiful bay with a sandy beach and clear waters. Rozel Manor: A 16th-century manor house, and one of the oldest buildings in Jersey. The Jersey Lavender Farm: A working lavender farm, which offers tours and workshops. The Jersey Heritage Farm: A working farm, which gives visitors a glimpse into rural life in Jersey. The Jersey War Tunnels: A network of tunnels that were used by the British during World War II. St Mary is a beautiful and historic parish, and is a great place to visit for a day out or a longer stay.
